Big 12 commissioner Brett Yormark has received a three-year contract extension, the league announced Tuesday. The Big 12's Board of Directors voted to extend Yormark's contract through the 2029-30 academic year.

It appears that after rumors circulated about Brett Yormark possibly returning to the NBA, he will remain in the Big 12 with a three-year extension.
