“AMBER Alerts are activated in the most serious child-abduction cases,” according to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. “The goal of an AMBER Alert is to instantly galvanize the community to assist in the search for and safe recovery of a missing child.”

An Amber Alert was issued out of Harnett County on Wednesday as deputies are looking for endangered child Azalea Strifler. Strifler is 15 years old and was last seen in Spring Lake. A Facebook post from Cameo Strifler,
