Yeovil is a town and civil parish in Somerset, England. It is close to Somerset's southern border with Dorset, 126 miles west of London, 42 miles south of Bristol, 6 miles west of Sherborne and 28 miles east of Taunton. The population of the built-up area – which includes the outlying areas of the town in the parishes of West Coker, Brympton and Yeovil Without – was 50,176 at the 2021 census.
