The boat access is from Kissamos, and it drops you at the lagoon. It is not steep, it is quite easy and accessible

Most of those selling sightseeing were combining Balos with Granousa for full day including lunch on boat. Do check weather before booking, we were caught in a windstorm and there …

Most of those selling sightseeing were combining Balos with Granousa for full day including lunch on boat. Do check weather before booking, we were caught in a windstorm and there was no place to shelter from the winds, besides we could see the larger boat decked further down but unable to reach it. Take shoes which are strong & waterproof, on the return we couldnt cross the lagoon as water had risen, the rocks on islands were cutting into my soles.
