How long did it take to kayak end to end? Can you rent kayaks from either north or south boat launches? Which boat launch would be a better choice to begin at? Thanks!

You can kayak it in an hour, hour and a half if you wanted too but unless you are in a race for some reason why would you? That's probably not why you asked the question though …

That's probably not why you asked the question though and you are trying to get a feel for the size. Really fast and not hitting all the nooks and crannies you might do it in an hour and a half but to check it all out and have a nice paddle i would give it more like 3 to 4 hours or longer. We have launched only from the north launch but the south would work fine also. Rentals are at the south but I am not sure on hours or season etc.
