The Ah-Tah-Thi-Ki Museum is the official museum of the Seminole Tribe of Florida. The Seminoles are the native Indigenous people of Florida and is location on the Big Cypress Seminole Indian Reservation in Hendry County. The 6500 square feet gallery showcase cultural and historical exhibits from the 1800s to today. The mile long boardwalk leads through a Cypress hammock to the living Seminole Village. Opened 7 days from 9am-5pm, and closed on holidays, and on other significant days for cultural practices. IMPORTANT: Charging Stations: Please note DURING business hours we only have two TESLA charging stations. Ride Share: LYFT and UBER often drop off guests, HOWEVER, they do not make the return trip to this service area.

Very well done museum. Excellent 30 minute video telling the story, followed by engaging exhibits. Boardwalk afterwards gives greater sense of the life and environment.Full review by John B
