Depends on the exhibit. Some are fascinating, while some of the art is not that meaningful without some expaination. The docents are great, but a few want to overwhelm you with their arcane knowledge of Russian history. On the other hand, a set of storybook matryoshka dolls, or maybe a 1960 rocket ship Christmas ornament, or even an antique wood fired samovar may be so interesting that the memory lasts forever. That’s what museums are all about.
