We hiked up using the Sidewinder and Ruby Run trails and took the gondola down. It was a LOT of fun, but very strenuous! Be prepared that this hike is full of tree roots, creek crossings, and a lot…Full review by Momof2Lisa

We went late season, and it was awesome. I can’t wait to return and see what it’s like peak season with everything open. The lifts are smooth, and the employees are very nice and welcoming. The gondo…Full review by Vinny O

We have a Friends and family trip every year for spring skiing. This year we came in late March, 95% of the mountain was open. First on Saturday we get a 50 degree slop fest so spent all day feeling…Full review by Joe S
Hello. My wife does not ski. She stays in the lodge and does her puzzle books and people watches etc. Since we've had two occasions in the last year in which she had no place to hang out I have to ask before we make the trip, are there reasonable places for her to stay and be comfortable while I ski? Thanks

Thank you so much for the information! I won't tell her about the crock pot b/c she'll try to feed the entire lodge. LOL
Hello! I see that you try to stay open into April; can you give me a guesstimate as to what percentage of the mountain is open into spring skiing? We are trying to plan a trip out there in late March/early April and I’m just curious as to what we can expect. Thank you so much!

Sarah, I have skied New England for over 30 years. In March, there is usually 1 big storm that helps keep all the big resorts open until April. There are a lot of deals that time of year so plan on booking at the last minute. Also, if you are advanced skier worry more about whether the upper part of the mountain is open, as you won’t want to ski the beginner area. They upped their snowmaking recently so the major trails are covered. Enjoy!
Hi, reelusin. What would you like to know about this attraction? How long were the lift lines at Gore on the holiday weekend?
A:
We barely had any lines at all. We were there during the bomb-cyclone, which I guess kept people away. We had the mountain to ourselves!! It was amazing.
