It could be as simple as taking a short taxi ride, chatting with your driver and seeing if he can give you a special deal for a future time (and confirming he is who he says he is, and hotel has heard of him/her). It could be as easy as asking the concierge at your hotel. How long is the distance. Sorry but your question is a tad to broad for concrete answer.
