We hiked all the way around the lake which is about 5 miles. Most of it is a pretty easy hike but the hike over the mountain area is definitely a challenge but not impossible. You need to be in shape…Full review by bonniem838

Watson Lake is a must do on your trip to Prescott. It offers stunning views of the lake and rocky landscape. We highly recommend viewing it via kayak as well as hiking around the lake. Just bewar…Full review by Darla A

You can rent kayaks in the summer there on weekends. Kayaking end to end depends on how fast your paddle. I could do it in an hour or an hour and a half depending on the weather and the whitecaps if there are any. You also have to be careful if the water level is low because you can hit rocks or boulders under the water. You could also kayak Willow Lake which is right next-door.
