About the numbat exhibit there. During the spring months, are they usually visible and easy to see? - Or like wild numbats, do they spend mornings or afternoons taking shelter/cover, or hide in logs, tree hollows, burrows or ground cover in their exhibit? As I'm from Tasmania, I'd really like to see one.
A:
We were there during May and they were quite active. The mornings were cool and the days were sunny. You could contact the zoo and ask the keepers that look after that exhibit.
Q:
Hi, are there places to buy food and drink or is it best to take a picnic ? Thanks

Yes there is a cafe and restaurant but I would take a picnic as there are so many places to sit and enjoy the sunshine.

It all depends. If yu have ab child that loves a close encounters of wild life then I would recommend Caversham. Here they would have more kangaros, wallabyd and koalas than the zoo. While Perth Zoo offers more varieties of animals, although u may not have a chance to have such a close encounters. Furthermore the Perth zoo are much nearer to the Perth city.
