We will arrive by ship on Saturday June 15th. We would like to take the cable car up. 1) what is the cost of the cable car? 2) what is the best way to get to the cable car from the port? 3a)Is it best to buy cable car tickets now or wait till we arrive? 3b) if we buy our cable car tickets now is there a skip the line for pre purchased ticket holders to get on or do you wait? 4) Is there a one way ticket and/or round trip ticket for cable car? How much are the tickets per adult? child? and if so at what age is a person considered an adult? 5)If we walk down from the top of the rock will we get the opportunity to see the caves? Hi, 1) cost is approx 50 dollar’s return but includes entrance to the nature reserve which is essential, otherwise you cannot see any of the sights such as tunnels, caves etc. cable car one way plus reserve is about 40 dollars. 2) you can walk it, Gibraltars a small area. 3) Buy your tickets when you arrive as if the weather is poor it’s not worth visiting the rock or at least wait until closer to the time. Both one way and return options available - both include nature reserve entrance. 4) kids are considered an adult after 11. 5) caves are near the cable car station and you probably want to spend a 30 minutes to an hour there if you also see the light show which is stunning. Word of caution it’s quite a trek from the cable car station to the tunnels. There are very good web sites to read up on before you go. A lot of visitors book taxis for the day which take you to the top and ferry you between sights and wait for you all for a set price.
Hi. Who knows, if I don't need any attractions (cave, bridge and so on) and want to go up on foot without cable car, how much will be entrance to the national park only? Or to go up to the rock I must to buy pass that includes all these attractions?

Would not advise walking up as the path is very steep and unmade up. Some people have walked down though. It is badly signposted and a bit of a rip-off in my opinion.
