This garden in the middle of the Tuscan countryside is a special place. Even if you are not into Tarot, you will love the whimsical artworks of Niki de Saint Phalle.Full review by lisarN148AS

I had wanted for a long time to visit the Tarot Garden (which, although formally in Tuscany, is very far from Florence) and this year I had the opportunity. At the end of the visit, I would like to s…Full review by Brun066

Hi, The garden is in a rural area. I visited 3 times, each time by car. However, the garden is not too far from Roma (about 70-90 minutes car ride). Nearest towns: Localita Inferneto, Capalbio. The rides from them to the garden take about 10 minutes or less. Seems someone will be able to drive you there for a certain fee. I am not sure where the train stops, but the whole area is pretty touristy, not far from the beach and from beautiful Argentario. You should be ok. Timewise it is doable. Watch out for opening times! They varry. Happy travels!

Hallo! Now I'm not sure how to get to this fantastic garden without a car: I think it's best to find a way to the next village like Capalbio with a train or a bus, and than if there is no way to continue to the Tarot gardens with a bus, spend some money for a taxi, the distance is about 8-10 km! I can tell you it is WELL worth it!! Go to the gardens and have fun like I do when I'm travelling in Italy!!!
What is the best way (fastest and cheapest) to go from Rome to the Tarot Garden, to Florence? Will not have a car. I would like to drop by the Tarot Garden on the way from Rome- Florence. Is there a place I can store my bags at the Capalbio train station or the Garden while I look around?

Visiting the gardens without a car was abit more difficult that we had hoped. We caught a train from Rome airport to Capelbio (1 change needed) then was picked up by our hotel. We then arranged a taxi from Capelbio village to the gardens return (30 euro total). We then caught a train to Pisa the next day.
