I am planning my first trip to Kashmir as there are too many options to visit I am really getting confused as to how to design my itinerary. Hi, Karan I would like to share my experience at Kashmir. We (friends) visited Kashmir in the month of February, and I found snow at Gulmarg, however, Pahalgam did not receive much snow except there were few places where there was snow like Chandanwadi. So u can stay for 2 nights at Srinagar (we had only one day) and u can experience a stay at houseboat and u can visit gardens and visit some other places at Srinagar You can stay 2 nights at Gulmarg, there u can enjoy Gondola ride, u can go to Apharwat peak (14000 ft above the sea level), Drang/Drung valley (which was covered with snow) and u can hire a local guide for a day or two and he will take u to the beautiful places. Further u can stay at 1 night at Pahalgam we visited many places at Pahalgam, like chandanwadi, Betab valley, Aru valley etc Chandanwadi was very beautiful (as it was covered with snow). Further, u can hire a local guide and visit as. Further, if u enjoy non-veg food then u must try Biryani and Kabab at hotel paradise and restaurant at main market at Pahalgam. We visited just for having light snacks as we were full however our guide and driver wanted us to try this so we tried and it was an awesome experience.
