There are 2 hikes available here. Unfortunately we had to settle for the much shorter one because of our tight schedule. It was quite an easy hike, with very beautiful and scenic views of the water. …Full review by Mohamed S

The Akchour waterfalls are well worth a visit. They are only a short drive away from Chefchaouen. We visited on a weekend and so it seemed busy and there was a bit of queuing but it wasn’t really a p…Full review by 662francesb

Hi all, Probably a silly question but.. I was wondering what the dress code for women was like during the summer months? Is it common to see women swimming in the usual swimwear etc? Also, is there taxi's waiting to go back to Chefchaouen? Thanks in advance!

Mellameyer, You will see the entire spectrum from bikini to fully clothed. Wear what you feel comfortable with. Our daughters wear swim shorts and shirts covering one-piece suits or bikinis. Whatever you wear, just be prepared for the staring. There is a grand taxi stand at Akchour. You may have to wait for other passengers for the seats to fill or pay for all the seats yourselves if you’re in a hurry. Enjoy your trip.

Sorry we had a rental car. But in Morocco you have always 2 types of taxis. official ones with a "meter" that works or not, or unofficial ones (locals using own car as taxi, its more crowded but cheaper - but trip is same. Make sure always to ask/negotiate the price BEFORE you get in the taxi. Unofficial cabs are not located where the official cabs are. You have to ask where their stop is.

Hi Grace, your review about paradise valley is very detailed. I just have few questions! :) how long did it take drive, walk, enjoying the place and the lagoon and back to Agadir as I am on a very tight schedule and wanna check if i can make it with my 5 years son. We are not good swimmers at all! :)) shall we get into the lagoon? how deep is it? Thanks a lot!

Hi Ahmad, maybe there are two Akchour's in Morocco - the one I went to was near Chefchaouen and not Agadir. I don't see how you could get from Agadir to Chefchaouen and back in one day. The whole expedition - leaving chefchaouen, walking and getting back - took about 6 or 7 hours. I did not hang around at the waterfall longer than 15 minutes. There is no lagoon, theres a pool of water under the waterfall that turn into a river. The downstream parts are shallow enough to paddle but under the waterfall I'm unsure, it was too dark to see the bottom so I suspect you could swim in it. As there was so much water when I went a swim wouldn't be pleasant or safe due to the amount of water from the waterfall and the strong current. During a drier period I imagine it would be fine just very rocky. I hope this helps
